Dive Dude does The GBR

The Dive Dude visited The Great Barrier Reef in early 2023 with a return to tropical water diving after a COVID induced hiatus, that left many a diver high and dry. 'Divers Den' hosted TDD for this trip, with a well priced and affordable liveaboard experience on board MV Ocean Quest, which was fantastic. The atmosphere on board with staff and guests from around the world was fun and vibrant and made for an exciting trip. A divers routine on board was jam packed full of activity with 4 dives a day (including a night dive with sharks) exploring exclusive mooring sights on Norman, Saxon and Hastings reefs. Food on board was outstanding, providing all the necessary fuel for big days of diving - the chefs were attentive and even spoilt the odd guest with taste tests of surprise treats. After hours, the chill out area both inside and outside on the top deck were comfortable and well appointed and provided an awesome vibe to end the day with new friends. MV Ocean Quest has recently undergone an out of water refurbishment in Cairns and is back online - if you're considering a trip to the GBR and want to day dive or experience a liveaboard lifestyle, you cant go past Divers Den for service, price and access to great diving.
